Arizona Corporation Commissioner Tom Forese plans to run for Arizona State Treasurer in the 2018 election, he confirmed in an interview with the Phoenix Business Journal Sept. 13.

Current Treasurer Jeff DeWit has indicated he will not run for re-election. DeWit has been splitting duties between the State Capitol and working as COO for the Donald Trump presidential campaign in Arizona.
